50 years ago this evening I was frantically finishing off my wedding dress - I had no idea that half a century later I would be finishing off hospital scrubs in a very different world.
Still sewing, although fingers not so nimble. Thankful to my Mum’s teaching, whose voice I can still hear telling me to get the seams straight. Golden wedding tomorrow - just the two of us and not the family and friends celebration we had planned. So a virtual glass of fizz or tea and a slice of cake to the group members 🍾 ☕️🍰 It’s so lovely to be doing something useful.
Pictured here with husband Brian, who was in charge of supplying a constant stream of tea on both occasions.
