SCRUBS FOR EPSOM & ST. HELIER
At the start of the pandemic I heard there was a shortage of PPE. I wanted to help those who were risking their own safety but didn't know who to contact or where to begin.
I saw a post on social media asking if anyone was volunteering in the Epsom area; a few of us starting messaging and soon the admin team formed for the group. I have met some wonderful people and it has been uplifting seeing volunteers willing to help in all sorts of ways such as sorting fabric, sewing scrubs and delivering items. Sewing scrubs was a good distraction during lockdown and the whole family could get involved in one way or another. The admin group have been so supportive throughout and it has been very rewarding being part of the team.
